Red Dead Redemption
This game is simply amazing. If you're not into western's, it doesn't matter. You have to try this game. It's by the same people that do GTA.

There are many games which i would call my favorite, however there is one in particular that i enjoyed the most. That game is Half - Life 2. The reason for that comes from its ability to tell a great single player story in a First Person Shooter setting. It was one of the first games next to its predecessor to introduce linear single player campaigns that were actually interesting and enjoyable to experience. Many modern multiplayer shooter games are nowadays created following the strategy that Half - Life 2 used, although i feel that the overall quality of those games has gradually degraded into a more quick casual experience, rather then a deep one.
The game also had revolutionary graphics and audio at the time, utilizing the Source Engine, which paved the way for other games to come. That and the incredible voice acting by the main characters make that a brilliant piece of art.

GTA games is my favourite as Red says, I could also say Rockstar Games. Every Rockstar game is awesome.
