Do I need to fuck you up for a third time? OT It is very upsetting that this has happened, although the fast response from the admins and mods, and the professionalism has increased my faith in this forum. #SLMasterRace RE: A Rather Sad Announcement - i0xIllusi0n - 06-02-2013 (06-02-2013, 05:30 AM)Sinisterkid Wrote: I do think that being defaced is a problem, but it wasn't that bad in the scheme of things. It is a game, one comes out on top, then vice-versa, and it continues on. I love it. RE: A Rather Sad Announcement - Dismas - 06-03-2013 Just had to delete something like 14 posts. It seemed like a lot of people were bringing their egos into this. This thread is to discuss the events that happened, ask questions, or voice concerns. RE: A Rather Sad Announcement - Lain - 06-03-2013 No one has bragged about the deface online, at least "google hasn't found it". Hopefully the "skids" will eventually show themselves RE: A Rather Sad Announcement - Nefarious - 06-03-2013 (06-03-2013, 02:42 AM)Dogs Toy Wrote: No one has bragged about the deface online, at least "google hasn't found it". We may already know who did it. They are acting like cowards. But it looks as everything will be okay now. It's interesting, because I offer rewards for reports of vulnerabilities. The cash I would have paid them for the information would probably be worth much more to them than our database. Since people post every day and passwords change, the outdated database will become more and more worthless over time. The theme (if they got it), would be worth a fair bit though, and some little "skiddie forum" may find the out-dated database valuable RE: A Rather Sad Announcement - Mustnabs - 06-03-2013 I believe they can get an easy $100 off the theme. Unless you're offering more than that? The members here are loyal to SL, I doubt anyone would join a forum spamming their inbox using the database. >Implying they even got the DB. |
