If that's the case, people are much dumber than you'd think.

You say:
"for normal people that IS just common sense."

I say:
"for normal people that SHOULD BE just common sense."

Yeah, it should be common sense, but people can be dumb sometimes... Plus, the average person doesn't know the true power of anyone online, have never realized the potential the malicious side of the Internet has when it comes to causing havoc, or they just flat out don't think about what's there at all.

Thanks for a really great share! I know doxing well, but I saw some new resources like the TinyEye that I didn't know about.
Also the information templates and examples of template usage was great!

NOTE: Removing EXIF data from images is important, too.
The EXIF data often can contain things such as coordinates via geolocation (for where you took the picture), and what type of camera you used to take the picture.
Some people can actually use this data to help themselves when doxing you.

If you're interested in this, Google it.

If the forum gets hacked people can easily find you by a quick search. Also your accounts could be hacked if your using the same password.

I sent you one of my doxes.
You're right with the other part of your post, too. This is why most of my passwords aren't even remotely similar to one another and also why I have a different email for every account. It gets hard to keep track of though... -.- I'm sure you get what I mean.

You should make a doxing tutorial. HC is lacking them. I'd love to read what knowledge you have to offer... In fact, if you make one using your methods - I'll make one using mine, too!

This was such an interesting and informative read, and now I have to go dox myself properly...

RE: Maxx's Anti-Dox Handbook - Spirit - 04-28-2014

Thanks for the feedback, @Dionaea!
Please do let me know how your self-dox goes for you.

Remember, questions are always welcome. Biggrin
