PS3 for The Last of Us and all other so much fun exclusives!!! Also the online is free, so much better.
I know my friend had xbox and he'd always be complaining about how he had to buy microsoft gold every now and then it's annoying and the bill stacks up the more time you have it.
I liked xbox's Fable 3 (Lots of people hated it) I liked it a lot.
PS3 got killzone as well but I don't like killzone because you never get to play helghast story line, you just play as generic spacemarine who's uncool and very cliche.

Good example ..is what happened yesterday. I would definitely recommend an Xbox 360 over a Ps3 for online gameplay. Ps3 offers free online gameplay, but that comes at a cost. Yesterday their servers for black ops 2 were down for about 6 hours. Sure that's not a big issue for some, but it happens ..& I rather pay $50 a year to avoid that from happening.
During my 3 years of Xbox Live, I had ONE time where the servers were offline for Halo 3 ..and since I was paying, they reimbursed me a month of free live!
There's benefits on both sides, but Xbox 360 is much better in my opinion.

Wait for the PS4. For some online games the PS3 hardware seems to make it laggy, hopefully the PS4 is going to overcome those problems. The best part is you can play some of the Online PS3 games on the PS4 just as fine with better performance.

Why not to buy? I have PS3 over 4 years its great fun, an if you find any older model with 3.40 OFW you can easily jailbreak it, and play any game u want. FOR FREE. :Thumbs-Up:

Most of the new mainstream games come out on the console first these days. GTA 5 for example. An equivalent gaming PC with high end graphics card cost a lot more than PS3. I've seen PS3 lagging in some online games because of the hardware issues. Just save a few bucks and buy a PS4.

If I were you I would stick to whatever your friends play. Ie. Pc probably xbox and ps have their flaws but they are oddly similar when it comes to experience in gaming. I would have to give ps an edge in sports games but xbox has the FPS market locked down. Hope i helped
