if yes those are coming from Linux Kernel , which is Developed by Linus Trovalds , well its from Open Source Software project mainly
Simply saying it not running exe files or even don't know about it ,
but there is a programe called Wine can run exe on those OS ,
and saying simply it It has goddamn facility than Windows because of Open Source Developers..
also ps - theres 3 Platforms as i know - Windows / Unix / Linux (this have lo of Linux base Distros)
