This will only work if the teacher is accessing whatever grading platform they are using during the attack. It's a great method, but may not be totally effective for this purpose.

If you're able to connect to the same network with your own laptop, and you can hide your laptop in school you can leave it scanning for an X period of time. Then bring it home with you and analyse the collected data.

It's interesting how by just "Googling" in this times you can find everything starting from "Warez" , "Hacking" ending at "Porn" - LoL. The only thing which you need to do that is that "You just want to".
I must agree with @Domain it's not only dangerous but also it's high risk that you can be caught and charged with Computer Misuse Act 1990 and then even police may intervene but in most cases you will be suspended or expelled.
When you have a smart Technicians and teachers at School/College they probably will notice that you changed the grades however you even can prejudice yourself because at the end of the year they will check or sum up the work you done (that applies to bigger colleges or schools I think) and if they notice there is something wrong you will need to repeat the whole year again.
The another thing is that seriously dudes , how desperate you must be to do that ? Except things which I mentioned above is that you just destroying the whole "Atmosphere" of achieving including fun of studying, getting more knowledge and I must say it's like with cheating. When you cheat the game become more boring until you quid because you will be bored as f////. The same thing is applying here.
The thing is that you never will be that real hacker of course you can learn from it to secure your network or prevent this to happen in the future and that can be just used for the knowledge because you won't be able to hack every computer system like Anonymous and for that you need far more understanding as well as knowing a hell lot more about computers and how they work including programming and other shit.
However you don't need to agree with me because it's just my opinion at that thing and also I don't stop anyone to doing this. Ufff I write a lot xD

Well, probably, even though morality is not the argument of this tutorial, it could be morally right to change grades you get in computer subjects this way. I've had an average 4 in informatics since I was back in first year of high school and I was already a programmer. It'd have been probably ironical if I ever changed that to something about 10 (security was crap and I could have done it much easierly than this way, though I didn't), nonetheless demonstrating how my arguments in "I'm not a 4" were correct.
Also, you're right, I had heard of an hacker arrested (probably they've not been too hard on him, just a kid, after all) for editing grades.

BTW I must say it's also depends from the person who "Hacking" and how tough the techies are because there might be a thousand ways of hacking but individual can find the new vulnerability , explore it and bam !
Hmm I must say that school don't have enough security .....
Just type ing google -> 15-year-old arrested for hacking 259 companies just finished reading it and I Just laugh that they finally catch him lol , I think the freedom is the problem in the internet in some cases lol :lol:

Although, this tutorial is about changing your grades. Remember, teachers aren't CONSTANTLY making changes to your grades. This would be effective around the time your reports are created, I feel as if there are other methods which would be more effective.
Non the less, its a decent tutorial and "could" work if the timing is right.
