The age of consent in VA is 18. Because neither the guy or the girl are of age, they probably had to make it a case of child pornography rather than statutory rape or contributing to the delinquency of a minor (because they are both under age). What most likely happened is the girl's parents found out what she was doing, and rather than accepting the fact that they failed as parents, decided to blame the boyfriend.
