Invalid, Chrome is obviously the best and fastest browser known to mankind. RE: Firefox vs. Chrome - ねこまっしぐら - 02-01-2013 I first used Safari then I moved onto Firefox. Soon after I got Firefox, it kept crashing when I tried to start it up. So I moved to chrome and I've never had a problem since. I've found that Chrome recently has been rather lacking, and I feel I may move back to Firefox soon. RE: Firefox vs. Chrome - Myjewishlife - 02-02-2013 Firefox is amazing. Definitely Firefox. Personally, I trust Mozilla more, and I am used to Firefox anyways. There's not much of a difference in terms of performance from what I've heard, so I'll be sticking with Firefox. RE: Firefox vs. Chrome - DrBlowFish - 02-02-2013 Chrome. It loads faster, and has way more user friendly design. Also the Google Extension market is amazing. The security team at Google is very sharp, and the sandbox approach has raised the cost of exploiting Chrome to a level where it is unlikely an attacker capable of breaking the sandbox would risk the cost of losing an 0day to own you without a strong, distinct motive. This is not to discredit the Mozilla security team, however I feel as though Google had the advantage of seeing how other browsers were being compromised when they developed Chrome, making it less of a "catch-up" game for them. Google is closed source, meaning only Google's development team gets to patch any exploits in the wild, and that only Google and reverse-engineers truly know what chrome is doing, which is a huge security flaw. RE: Firefox vs. Chrome - 4861636b - 02-05-2013 Chrome is much faster. But I would choose Firefox > Chrome, simply because I don't trust it. |
