RE: Internet Browser - 1nT0x!c@t3d - 09-25-2012 Waterfox, palemoon portablex64, srware Iron. The 64bit variants to Firefox seem less prone to crashes. I love the concept behind Firefox but i cant stand all the hangups and "not responding" that happens all the time. Srware iron doesn't have the install ID that Chrome does that Google uses to track you. I'm not wearing a tin foil hat I just like my privacy that's all. As far as using a Chrome variant or Opera, I just like how Firefox handles bookmarks more than the rest of them. RE: Internet Browser - Ultimatum - 09-25-2012 Google Chrome has its own greatness for a various amount of reasons. 1) It is the first browser to ever split up different tabs into separate processes instead of chunking the whole extra tabs into one process, and such browsers which do not do this are like FireFox, IE, Opera, etc. Therefore, each tab will operate at a good rate and startup is also very manoeuvrable. 2) I really like the basis and design of GC itself and its fluidity in design. 3) The idea of a App store is also unheard of until GC made it available. RE: Internet Browser - Diablo - 09-26-2012 Been bossin' with Firefox since 2008. I love it. It's no bullshit and highly customizable. RE: Internet Browser - Kinanizer - 12-02-2012 I use Comodo Dragon, it's supposed to be really secure, and it feels just like chrome. RE: Internet Browser - Xeronations - 12-02-2012 Chrome all the way. Both IE and Firefox have become extremely slow. RE: Internet Browser - Mustnabs - 12-02-2012 I use google chrome like most people do xD RE: Internet Browser - Anonymous - 12-06-2012 I perfer Firefox, or Chrome. I only use one of the 2 but usually have both installed. RE: Internet Browser - Adorapuff - 12-06-2012 I use Chrome, Firefox, and Tor. RE: Internet Browser - phyrrus9 - 12-06-2012 Chrome FTW. Handles my screen much better and the threadsystem works great. RE: Internet Browser - ohx666 - 12-13-2012 there is a modified distribution of chrome, chrome is from google... google is a bit interested in personal data. coolnovo is the "other" chrome, without spyshit... they added some new features but its the same else. chrome plug-ins and themes are working. i tested every single browser i could find, coolnovo was always faster, used less memory and the usage was smooth. nice browser. chrome/coolnovo´s differences to the most other browsers are: - each tab creates an own process (if a tab is crashing the built in task manager terminates the tab) - it prioritizes the tabs -> the displayed one is faster - lower memory usage - in case of an bluescreen/crashed os there is an recovery button, each tab will show up again, no tabs are lost - its possible to sync it with google - its faster
