Definitely apple. I have tried both and I use both mac and windows, but for a phone an iPhone is just f ing reliabe.

As I am a big fan of modding apps and using custom ROMs. Android is the way. So I would say Samsung.

I had android phones for years, Ive switched to an old iphone 2 years ago and I'm more than happy that I did it. I vote iphone, despite their anti consumer behavior.

majority of mainstream apps are more optimised towards apple devices, so consider that if social media etc is what u live on 24/7

I know Apple has had performance and UX down pat for years, but I always found Samsung to be my go-to for technology.
It's probably not good security wise...among other reasons...and I always struggle with using an iMac versus a Windows PC - same idea with the iPhone versus Samsung phone (or any android phone really).
