I think apple products are more simple and geared towards casual consumers but less customizable when compared to android. It really just depends on your interests and needs.

Android isn't bad, but I like apple/ios more.

Choosing between Apple and Samsung is like picking between a nice sports car and a spaceship. Sure, both get you there, but one makes you feel like you're cruising in the future while the other just makes calls and lets you play Candy Crush.
