That's the worst excuse ever. You want to smoke to fit in and be cool? If you're going to do it, do it on your own time and choice, believe me it's still not a good choice. I almost lost my dad and uncle from smoking, my uncle also went into reno failure with smoking and drinking being the reasons. I myself have tried cigars, and in all honesty there is NOTHING good about them. They are pointless and a waste of time. Just do not do it till you know you are mature enough and know the consequences.

Yeah. I'm 18 and there's nothing that makes me cringe more than thinking about a bunch of 15 year olds smoking thinking they're hot shit. There's nothing 'cool' about smoking. And you certainly shouldn't do it to 'fit in'. You can still hang out with them and die of passive cancer instead.

If you value a healthy lifestyle you'll stay away from smoking. Part of that is surrounding yourself by people who respect your choice. If your "friends" can't accept that, you're better off in the long run to avoid them.
Smoking is one of the highest, if not the highest risk factors leading to mortality in the world. Now if growing up and being at a high risk for cancer and other illnesses (heart disease and respiratory disease) is something that appeals to you, then go and smoke. But let me tell you, smoking is very unattractive and does NOTHING but destroy you. Not to mention you become a nuisance when you smoke around other people who don't.
Not to mention you'll be saving money.
Edit: Looks like you were already convinced. Regardless you can use what I said as reassurance. Good choice.
