I'm currently running this card and wow does it run hot. Every time ANY game passes 60 FPS the fan takes off like a jet engine.. it's so loud. It's lasted me a good year and a half so far and I haven't run into any major problems on any games thus far. Battlefield 3 did make it lag a bit, so I had to tune down the graphics but other than that most games: for example Bioshock Infinite haven't given it any grief yet.

My desktop has a EVGA 680, one of my laptops has a AMD Radeon 6970M, and another one has a Nvidia 660M. Needless to say, my desktop beats the hell out of my laptops.

My laptop uses Radeon 5730 considered midrange way back during it's peak on the market. Still delivers my demand since I don't game much and still kicking playing humble bundle games which are old in comparison and can be handled by my GPU.
