I'm borderline homeless at this point but i've landed a decent paying job with my work experience. I'm in the city so there's more work then I could ask for, and i'm thankfully not too old.
Well done with getting yourself back on track.

In terms of age, once you reach your 50s, It Is extremely difficult to find a job, Irrespective of experience. Many employers prefer people In their 20s-30s, particularly for longevity of employment.

Well, I'm happy but it goes up and down .. Situations changing, future unclear so little bit confusion yet. Just trusing what Allah will bring for me.

While In lockdown, the government In my country said something similar - "we exist, but we're not living".

After 2 months of hard lockdown, they're planning to ease restrictions In the weeks to come.

Happiness is 100% relative. When someone says they are happy, it is relative to previous experience or other points of comparison. It takes a bad day, to appreciate a good one.

Happy for some reasons, sad for other reasons, angry for some reasons, calm for other reasons, ...
Happiness is overrated brother,
all emotions are chemicals and they provide certain functionality and go,
so there's no I'm happy so I'm not sad ... (at least that's my perspective)
They co-exist for different reasons (in some cases the same).
Happiness is a choice eventually.
But if you here mean by happiness, satisfaction about one's own life. Yes Smile

That sums It all up.

We're accountable and responsible for how we feel, think and react. If you're unhappy, you only have yourself to blame.

You are responsible for the effort, not the outcome.

If your effort leads to an unfavorable outcome, then you're responsible for that result.
