Every weekend is beautiful . I only spend time with people I like. Of course I remember with joy the time when I used to go hiking in the mountains. But it is not the place that makes the man, but the man makes the place.

Nice sentiment, but to clarify: Would you say you enjoyed your mountain hiking holidays the most?

My best holiday was in Austria, the most beautiful country I have ever seen.

That sounds really nice. Were you just sightseeing while you were there?

I wouldnt count this as a holiday but around Thanksgiving in 2020 I got to see my family for the first in almost 6 years. I got to see my grandma, sister, and some aunts & uncles. It definitely made me feel a lot better. Almost like a piece of me was missing until I got to see them.

It wasn't what I had in mind when I wrote the thread, but it definitely counts!

That's such a lovely thing. I'm glad you got to spend some time with them.

Thailand. The country has fantastic contrast, the scenery and wildlife is stunning, it has the best beaches, it is very welcoming, and last but not least - it is cheap when you are there.

A vacation to Suffolk in England was a special one, as that is where my fiancée and I got engaged.

Oh how sweet! I don't think I've really ever explored Suffolk, what did you think of the location?

I've never been to Thailand either, but I've met many a person who has absolutely loved. What was cheap? Accommodation or just everything like food/clothes etc?

The county has a fascinating history, comely countryside and some authentically picturesque villages.

Everything in Thailand is cheap!
