If you buy your cat from a proper breeder and not a pet store, you can get a healthy cat without any diseases that could transfer to humans and hurt your family.

If you are to convince her that having a cat isn't too much work or a struggle for health care, give her a cat facts book. Or watch Cats 101 with her.

I own two dogs, a Weimaraner who's 13, along with a Black Lab mix (a little pit bull, barely any), and she's 5 months old.

Three dogs. Two of them are half-chihuahua and half something else. The third and youngest dog is a fat maltese.
