In terms of my accounts, Mega doesn't seem to detect/Identify hacking & cracking tools- checkers, crypters, binders, keyloggers, RATs, stealers, etc.

At the time of this post, I've navigated to a few blog posts that're 4-5 years old, and the links are still alive.

Always keep backups. You never know when you'd lose your data.

As per my saying: "Today Is never too early, and tomorrow Is always too late".
i've already got my account reseted like 2 years ago, i only had minecraft maps and a random game, a more recent event is when my retheming of SWFFilePlayer retheme download link got randomly taken down, i don't know if that's a known glitch or if someone actually took the link down for some reason, it's also the only crack i've had problem with since im on sinister.ly

Quote:a more recent event is when my retheming of SWFFilePlayer retheme download link got randomly taken down

What did the link actually contain?

Any cracks/activators, or just the software alone?

the software was just rethemed, here's the thread: https://sinister.ly/Thread-SWFFilePlayer-ReSkin-Dark-themed

the software was just rethemed, here's the thread: https://sinister.ly/Thread-SWFFilePlayer-ReSkin-Dark-themed

Now I remember the thread.

In my view, there's no reason why Mega should've removed It from their servers. I still have applications with activators/cracks and the like, sitting on Mega for over 5 years.

idk, it might be a glitch after all, because manually taking this much effort to take down a retheme of an app. if someone actually took their time to do that, they'll should focus more on other links which are not following the ToS of MEGA or even is not even legal

Here's a method that I created myself for storing questionable files on MEGA.

Get the folder or file that you want to upload and then archive it using WinRAR with a password. Then get the file that you just created using WinRAR, and do the same thing again. Finally, make sure the archive files don't have a suspicious name. Now your files should be safe forever!

You can't access the second archive without a password. So that makes it impossible for the staff to check the contents.

but i mean true though, but i really don't want to have archives in archives..., i found it just annoying, and even more when there's a password, however, it's not that bad, i still have all my cracks on my laptop, so i can just reupload them directly

If you don't feel like using that method it's alright. You could always explore more lax file services. I haven't seen Mediafire links get taken down often.

Quote:if someone actually took their time to do that
The volume of files uploaded daily, makes It Impossible to manually check the lot.

Their scanning Is automated, so perhaps It was detected as a false positive.

RE: Mega.nz Warning - Rezyy - 03-04-2020

Mega is constantly in the spotlight.

RE: Mega.nz Warning - miso - 03-04-2020

I don't like using mediafire cloud drive, however, i like how it basically set an easy standard in GUI layouts for cloud storage services.

i'll stick up with MEGA rn, i might change later but will probably in at least a few years
