Well yeah, that's kind of the point of hacktivism - to gain publicity. They want people to say "LOL LEWK WAT ANONYMOOSE DEED!"

Activism isn't cyberterrorism, it's the advocation of a particular cause.
Hacktivism should be about advocating a cause, not trying to terrorize people.

Activism is not, but because just assembling can't really be an effective activist action online, using terrorism, as defined by google as "The use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims," is the only viable way to be an activist online.
