I think everyone knows this isn't the first or only time it's happened. All we are seeing here is humans trying to take advantage of other humans. Nothing new about that.

what I'm saying is ... whats the big deal??? it has happened and continuous to happen and nobody does anything....
for instance... community will be upset on a police killing of an innocent...
but no body gets upset with the innocents being killed in Syria or the plp dying from hunger in Africa..
just saying.

I think that's not entirely true. Given the international aid spending annually, I would say people care. I'd just argue they are not using the right approach. Throwing money at a problem doesn't resolve it.
I do see where you are coming from. There are bigger problems and things to be worried about. However, that doesn't mean this is any less of an issue. Being open to talking about problems, is the first step to working on solutions.

I honestly don't like anyone if they're from the cast of empire, but this angers me even more. I really can't grasp the idea of faking a hate crime against LGBTQ's, which de-legitimizes any true events. Then getting off pretty much unscathed. The only real repercussions this guy received was being fired from the shows cast. This whole situation is just bs. I heard about this the day it happened, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents at this.
