It's hard to beat that combination, particularly In the morning.

When I used to smoke over a decade ago, breakfast, lunch and dinner consisted of a cigarette & coffee after each meal.

This sounds way too familiar, rofl. What a blessing.

I somewhat miss the days of the good old cigarette In the morning, but health-wise, quitting was the best decision I made.

You've nailed this to a tee.

As a substitute to cigarettes, I've found that I'm drinking three to four cups of coffee more.

That sounds about right. The caffeine helps quite a lot actually.

In the early stages of quitting, I think with me It was more so "how to occupy my hands" In the absence of habitual cigarette movements.

Nowadays, caffeine has become a part of my daily diet.
