that its super weird... both systems are supposed to be independent.
I could try to help you, Im not an expert since I always use kali on a VM. its jut easier I guess.

yes that is weird. Kali Linux does work well in VM.

I even try that before and that did not fix my problem. this happens almost 2 years ago.

maybe you should try again with the new kali.... it might already be fixed.
I will try it again when I buy a new computer. because my computer is around 7 years old now. Maybe my drivers for hardware is outdated or old.

I also can't update my drivers anymore. because of my motherboard is 7 years old.
