Anime Matsuri was primarily anime. Some other stuff.

Ohh megacon sounds fun. Was it expensive?

I'd love to attend Defcon, however It's not very convenient.

Yeah, if it wasn't for cost and travel, I'd go to more.

I'm sure It would've been quite an experience.

I'd love to go, but It's not as though I can jump In my car and make my way there. It's quite a lengthy flight and because of my height (198cm), I'd have to travel first class. No chance I'll sit comfortably In the economy/regular seating.

Good lord you are a tall fella. O_O

Spoiler:
I had to google what 198cm is in feet xD

Haha it's in the title! (Otaku is also the name of our anime & manga group here).

Local stuff can be awesome.. I've not done local conventions (not a thing here), but I've been to art shows which were superb.

I've been that height since the age of 16.

I remember In my biology class, we had to take our height and weight every month or so. I thought I'd be taller (not that I wanted to be), but It stopped at that age.

That's amazing. But hey, I bet your parents/guardians were glad you stopped at that point!

I'm tempted to say NAMM, PAX, or ReplayFX but I think VCF is going to take the top spot.

Nice amount of people but it's nowhere near crowded, a great atmosphere, and just a ton of neat stuff. The whole convention is vintage computer hardware and just a bunch of hobbyists getting together and messing with stuff, showing off projects, designing devices to make it all usable for modern tasks, etc. and it was just a ton of fun.

They certainly were, especially when trying to find clothes to fit my length.

My father Is around 190cm, but my grandparents (his mother & father) were both rather tall for their generation, so that's where my height derives from. People say It's a good height, but I'm bending over for most things I do- washing dishes, showering etc and really feel It on my back. 6'2 Is okay, but not 6'6.

I'm sure it's a great height for some things, but not when houses/buildings and just about every other thing is designed for people who are 5'5-5'11. I can imagine the back pain

Yes, reaching the top kitchen cupboard and changing light globes without a ladder, Is a breeze.

Trying to remain Inconspicuous at a Defcon convention, Isn't so easy. I'd really love to attend (Defcon) and will plan on doing so within the next few years.

RE: Best convention you've ever been to? - Pikami - 08-22-2018

Haven't been to a lot of conventions, would love to go to some but there are no conventions that interest me in my country and to travel abroad costs money witch I don't have much of because I'm still a student, hopefully that changes in the future but for now I can say that the best convention I've been to is GameON witch is the biggest video games culture con in the Baltic states.

Simple solution. Go with 7 foot friends. You'll totally blend in.

Definitely know that struggle! Fingers crossed for the future of our bank accounts!

You always have a solution for everything. That's one attribute you should be proud of.

Trying to find friends of that height, Is next to Impossible. My best friend Is the tallest of the lot at 6'3 (190cm), whilst others range between 5'6 to 5'11.
