RE: new thread design - Blink - 07-27-2018

It's pretty nice. However, there isn't really much 'special' about it, it looks like every modern website does. Some people like that, but it makes for less-interesting designs, and people are more likely to read something that looks different from the other stuff. Try experimenting a bit; it can still be the same flat style, but maybe with some less common aspects (for thread designs).
An example of something that fits into the common modern style but also stands out a little is this:
Spoiler: why is this so big

No idea what it is but it's neat

Not sure if it's worth-it to switch, but +1 for Dribbble, it's a nice site.

That's the problem though. If you say "I don't know what it is" its not an effective ad. Interesting doesn't always make a good ad. One that can be read is more effective.

I see your point.

I'm viewing It on my 17" 1920 display, and there Is a little scrolling which Is an Indicator of a lot more on bigger displays.
Looks good overall, though.

True, but being bland doesn't make a good ad either. A good ad should be readable and interesting.

On a separate note, I found the source for the image: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC27Er-ajeWOXdrCOpWDkxLA
