Reggae (Because why not?)
R&B (Or whatever else you'd call Flobots)
Jazz (by far my favorite at the moment)
Metal (moderately)
Alternative (the broadest genre in all of history)
Classical (so long as it includes a twist of some sort)
Dubstep (My favorites include Jamaican influences.
Electronic (Deadmau5 and Daft Punk)
Funk (Play That Funky Music White Boy, Brick House, and others)
Punk (Rise Against)
Film Scores (Two Steps From Hell, primarily)
Chillstep (The Last Atlant and comparable artists) (Thank you, Crow)
Experimental/Avant-garde Jazz (This is mostly big-band experimentation, so I felt like I should group it separately) (primarily Charles Mingus)
FRENCH MUSIC (because it's a beautiful language and nearly anything sounds good)

I think everyone will have a favorite band, but favorite songs do drift in and out, just keep listening and broaden your listening and you'll find something new you love.
