no, it won't. Programming will get you that mindset. Learning C or some other low level language (like ASM or an intermediate) will teach you logic, compiler theory, and basic algebra. Remember that a computer is just a tiny 3 year old that you keep asking to do 1st grade algebra.

learn C it will help you so much to learn algorithmic stuff and also memory managment
