He's already getting investigated by school/police for other cases.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't report it yourself. Having all the information they can get helps investigators get a scope of how spread this guy victimized people.
They will ask questions, likely some that will make you uncomfortable, but remember that it's to put someone horrid behind bars so that they can't do it to anyone else.
Even with an active investigation, additional testimony is helpful, and paints a fuller picture.
Not to mention that, but from the sounds of it, the people investigating have likely heard stuff much worse or humiliating. By sharing your story, you'll add validity to the stories of the other people.

The more victims come forward, the stronger the prosecution's case. That's on the grounds It does lead to litigation, and charges are not dropped due to some loophole In the legal system.

I think the comments here are a chorus of "speak up". Only you can decide who the best person to tell is first. If you're struggling with figuring that out, reach out to a therapist who can guide you and support you through the process. I do think it is vital to let the police know. You're helping other victims too.

To the contrary of what others may think, a therapist does help.
Most are compliant with patient confidentiality so anything discussed (barring legal Implications), will remain within the confines of the parties Involved.

Mothered is right. Often therapists aren't viewed in the best light, but this is one of those situations a therapist has pursued their career for - To help people who need it.

My post Is based on the feedback of those physically around me, who did attend consultations with a therapist/psychologist.
With the exception of one, all said they've benefited (to some degree) after only a handful sessions. When some people hear the terms "therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist", their first thought Is they're suited to those with some sort of mental Instability. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The fact that he's already under investigation will give credence to your argument. Not only with the school but with the police too. Best of luck in recovering from this incident and getting justice against the asswipe that did this.
