Speaking from experience, even owning the forum isn't reason for investigation.
Pretty sure he was doing something dumb, and I turn logs over when people do dumb things (it's happened before).

He claimed that there were about 20 forums that got attacked that all "merged" with SL. For the fact that there hasn't been 20 merges makes me laugh so fucking hard.

The majority of merges, we've actually had pretty good relationships with the owners, and you'll find that a few of them even stuck around (i.e. @Pirate). As for any attacks that may have happened, they were not performed with my consent, or by anyone that I'd consider a friend of the site. I am a very busy person and don't have time for petty squabbles, much less policing the thousands of members we have. There are plenty of members who have our interest at heart, but might do things that I don't agree with. I find it very hypocritical for him to judge others on their actions (at least on the basis of morality) given how he's behaved on the forum and elsewhere.
