Anything can be circumvented- Sandboxie, VMs, Firewalls, AVs (obviously), IPS/IDS, the crappy Windows UAC and the list goes on.
It's not about "trusting" Sandboxie, but more so using It an an "Indicator" on the grounds of It's findings. As I've mentioned In another thread

We are on reddit or cracking forum skid? Obviously I wont reverse 1 by 1 any software around that I host due to prevent malicious file since they are for advanced users which are able to check by themself what is risky.

Actually I might go through the tools and analyze them all for malwares.
