RE: ARE SMALL HOSPITALS MORE VULNERABLE TO DATA BREACHES? - Drako - 01-19-2018 Yes, most if not all Hospitals are vulnerable. Although it's more than just wrong to gain access to a Hospital's system, some people will still do it. The fact is as you mentioned, most of there software has many loopholes. Honestly Microsoft should be helping these Hospitals out. With such things as free copies of Windows. RE: ARE SMALL HOSPITALS MORE VULNERABLE TO DATA BREACHES? - Num5kull - 01-23-2018 have found plenty of unsectured terminals for hostipal equipment 90% of are running windows servers, hope someone helps then clear this type of thing up someone could get really hurt if they dont up their security game.

If It's online, It's exploitable. More specifically, everyone is vulnerable, one way or another. The idea of Hacking is thinking outside of the box sometimes and finding new exploits. They'll always be there, and I'll always have a job! But, tbh, I think vulnerability for small vs large businesses in general is 50/50 -- The small guys can't afford great protection, and the large guys don't want to spend their "hard-earned" money on security. Just look at any large company who was recently hacked. Furthermore, even the big companies who are willing to buy great protection are more susceptible to the public's' eye and thus are targeted more (sometimes -- it really depends but I'd argue a majority.) RE: ARE SMALL HOSPITALS MORE VULNERABLE TO DATA BREACHES? - Synthx - 01-24-2018 If you're enough of a dick head to hack a hospital, then you need to just kill yourself. That's all I got to say.

The OP Is simply contributing his/her thread, and not performing any acts of any nature. No Issues, all good. RE: ARE SMALL HOSPITALS MORE VULNERABLE TO DATA BREACHES? - FunkyG - 01-25-2018 Interesting read indeed! I didn't know hospitals were so compromised :O Is that only in the US they're so vulnerable or also in other countries? Without going Into detail (proof can be provided at any time at my discretion with 1000+ compromised without malicious Intent), all over the globe, locality Is Immaterial. The same applies with other entities. The education sector Is by far the worst I've come across. PREEEEEEEEEEEACH! The shit is ridiculous. You get access in these schools and you litterally have a massive botnet done deal. For a small school, say 1200 students. Average of 3 family members makes 36,000. Average of 3 devices per person make 72,000? Shit is insane. Realistically, maybe 1000 are vuln, that's still quite significant not to mention ALL the computers in the school! But hey fuck funding education and security right? LOL XDXDXDXD /s |
