We are working on figuring that out, although SL should stay up now.

No. Pretty much all SMTP mailers don't divulge the sender's IP.

Lol some "shell booters" on HF can do that. If skids can manage that, image what people who are only semi-retarded can pull off.

The attackers could be using cloudflare-watch.org or using that IP logget avatar method.
