Can you not upload a single 60GB file like that? With Mega (free accounts), unlike most other file sharing sites, they don't actually have restrictions In place for a maximum single file size upload. The cloud storage space determines the capacity of a single file upload. Simply put, a free registered Mega account Is 50GB of cloud storage so the same applies for a single file upload (50GB) which still doesn't fulfill the OP's needs. Then to download the (large) file can be an Issue for some browsers due to their limited support for HTML5 streaming from Mega. They have a client that they claim is better for download/upload of big files. I actually think you can't download anything over 2GB without using the client. To the best of my knowledge, I'm not aware of how to obtain extra storage for free Mega accounts beyond 50GB. I've yet to look Into It. As for the client to download large files, Mega does have "MEGAsync", but that only relates to downloading from your Mega account. There are other tools such as Megatools, Megadownloader but they go down quick and are pretty useless. I'm pretty certain the download limit Is 5GB. RE: Need to upload a large file online, any recommended websites? - reGEN - 12-13-2017 Have you considered splitting it into two parts and then uploading each on different accounts? I've seen this done with files much smaller than 60 GB. I've seen this done with files much smaller than 60 GB. Good suggestion. It can be split Into multiple files/archives (WinRAR does the job well), and uploaded thereafter. The only Issue Is, particularly because It's an ISO file, those downloading will need to have the know-how to compile It back to It's original state. RE: Need to upload a large file online, any recommended websites? - S3xySmurf - 12-13-2017 If you are able to extract the files from the ISO you should be able to use zpaq to compress the files into one tiny archive, I'm doing it with Assassins Creed Origins, so far I've got a 2.9GB archive file I will update when it's finished. RE: Need to upload a large file online, any recommended websites? - Pikami - 12-13-2017 7zip has a feature that can split files: http://www.newsgroupreviews.com/7-zip-split-archive.html Just split your 60gb to 6 files each 10gb, create multiple gmail accounts and upload them to google drive. You could also use something else instead of google like dropbox/mega/etc. RE: Need to upload a large file online, any recommended websites? - innocent21 - 12-17-2017 Box.com gives 100GB of free storage. Also you can use WinRAR to split large files into multiple files. Once you've downloaded each file, you can combine them together. I would upload the file as a split file split into lots of 100MB files. RE: Need to upload a large file online, any recommended websites? - benken - 02-11-2018 I believe Datafilehost would be a better idea becoz it is free of cost and also has a better user interface. It would also be easier to download files from datafilehost! |
