My main point is, posts like these are discouraging to forum members. I think advertising is fine, as long as the site being advertised has different stuff to offer and differs in nature. As long as it doesn't turn into a "Coca Cola - Pepsi" situation. If it's not going to harm your site, then it should be fine. However, if his forum is incredibly similar in nature, you might want to deal with it. On my site, users are known for dealing with people like that... in an interesting way.
There are plenty of forums on the internet. The most important thing is making yours unique.

There's no rule which says that if you're a Staff at one forum, you can't join another. Honestly, Wonders can even verify it himself, I am a Admin on site which is 20 times bigger than CNC
You guys are jumping to conclusions for no reasons. And, CnC was file Wonders ran it. First you guys forcibly had CG merged here, and put too much pressure of Chris, and now, you sold all the effort which me and other CG Staff had put in it to achieve the merged 30K Posts which CnC has. You guys attempted Forum Hops from CG and that's how this forum came to existance. Chris was pretty disappointed hearing that his database was SOLD!

So someone else signed into his account an PM'ed members to join? "I am a Admin on site which is 20 times bigger than CNC", this has nothing to do with anything so I dont know why you mention this. You have no idea what went on with Chris stop acting like you know the situation cause you dont. Stop acting like you did so much work on CG cause you didn't I was an Administrator as well so your point?....
