For hacking, well that Involves a complete and dedicated setup of secure browsers, private search engines, selective OSes, VPNs and a heap of non-tracking configurations (prevention of browser fingerprinting, canvas fingerprinting, cross browser fingerprinting on an OS and hardware level, primary and secondary DNS server encryption, WebRTC, anonymous entry points to the VPN connection) and the list goes on.

I've read about the new version, but yet to test It out. I shall do so today or tomorrow.
Thanks @Mr.Kurd.
EDIT: Typo.
While using Internet Explorer, We had always wait a couple of seconds to get the whole page Biggrin

IE worked fine for me.

In terms of loading times, It also depends on the website Itself, your Internet connection, the number of applications consuming bandwidth at the time, the device's specs and It's available resources, the browser's configurations and the list goes on. Funny story of your first time on the net. I remember navigating on the net around 20 years ago using the "Netscape" browser. By the time It loaded, I could've comfortably made a cup of coffee.

I'm looking forward to see just how light It will be on memory usage.

As per the site, It's 30% lighter than Chrome.

IE has always been the browser people use to install a new browser.

And now it's Edge.

I've been waiting for the FF logo change... I saw the new logo (or something similar to it) somewhere (can't remember where, but I think it was on their site), and expected the main logo to be changed sometime.  Seems cool, I don't use browser betas, as I'm afraid there will be stability issues, so I'll be trying this when it is officially released (maybe I'll switch during a RC).

I was too tempted, and ended up installing the beta :/

Seems quick, but the new theme needs some work. All my non-webextension browser extensions were disabled permanently, so you need to make sure you can find alternatives before switching. (I just found a great tab organizer, and now it's gone ?)

RE: Firefox Quantum - zorrophreak - 10-16-2017

So after a day(ish) of using it, my initial comments are

pros:
- pleasant look
- very snappy (like firefox was before they started implementing engine updates and stuff)
- load time is amazing (but that could have something to do with me finally upgrading to Win10
- like the theme, reminds me of developer edition

cons:
- add on support is awful so far (but its expected)
- anything that was based on old ui is broken
- data collection at an all time high (but i saw that with the last official release candidate)

I really like it, and have to say I will be staying on the Quantum beta until full release.

Did you check it?
It's amazing.

RE: Firefox Quantum - Synthx - 10-17-2017

Upon seeing this thread, I went to download it, and when I opened it, I was amazed. The biggest problem I have with it, is that my proxy plugin wasnt compatible, so it disabled it, and the original firefox application in my applications is an older version of firefox, and due to my recent laptop reset by the school, I am not able to update it, so I had to go and download a newer version in order to get most of my plugins back. All that aside, this is an amazing browser, and I love the new look!

Not yet, I've been (and still am) very busy fully anonymizing my network on a browser, OS and hardware level by covering every facet I can think of.

I realize the Quantum browser Installation Is only a few minutes, but delving and testing It's features and security Isn't. That In mind, when I can dedicate a few hours, I shall then hit the Installation.
