Yes on the same laptop I have a 2TB HDD, and a 256GB SSD (boot) which Is more than enough storage. The Ram Is 32GB which I'm about to purchase another 2x16GB sticks, making It a total of 64GB of ram.
On topic, although I'm not Into GFX, I shall sift though this just to get a general Idea of how It all comes together.

Quite good setup, you should try GFX it's profitable freelancing job, it can be your second hoby. Lately I have been working a little in Adobe Illustrator, it's interesting working as designer too.

It may be an overkill (for now), but given It chews any task I throw at It, I can't complain.
If I was In the capacity of 3D modelling/rendering, my GPU (GTX 1070) would have no problem fulfilling It's role.
