Unfortunately, the only concert I've ever been isn't one I can look back on fondly. It was a good night, but when wearing the concert t-shirt at school, a week or so later, a friend asked me if I supported pedophiles. Lead singer was outed as a pedo the day before and I hadn't seen the news yet. So, that day was pretty embarrassing *covers up t-shirt with hoodie*. I'll give you three guesses as to which band it was.

Judging by my own experience and others who've attended, I'd say It's safe to assume your parents would've loved the Bon Jovi concert.

My goodness, you weren't to know of the lead singer being a pedo. Thankfully, your friend (not exactly the way you would've liked It) made you aware of the situation. I do recall reading about It In my travels a few years ago, and the band that comes to mind Is "Lostprophets".

They did indeed enjoy it.

Nailed it!
I'm very relieved she said something - I could have been walking home from school with the band name on display!

I hope to go to concerts in the future, likely something both Oni and I would like.

Luckily I got It right, It was the only band that came to mind.

Yes It was a very good thing that she made you aware of It. Who knows all the nasty comments that may have been said If you kept wearing It. I also haven't been to a concert In years. Given there's so many bands touring of different genres, I'm sure both yourself and Oni will come to a mutual agreement.
If not, let me know and he'll get a stern talking to.
Spoiler:
Joking.

For both you and @Jiggly, I highly recommend BandsInTown (the app is better than the desktop interface) for finding shows.

Those all sound like awesome shows, I can only imagine that Slayer and Slipknot were kind of terrifying.

I actually missed Black Sabbath's The End tour last summer; they were here the night I got back from London and I knew someone who could get tickets, but the 5 hour time change had me wiped Sad I also started listening to Motorhead about a month after they last toured here, which was my opportunity gone.

Thanks for the suggestion! I shall keep that in mind. There's often a lot of shows etc that happen in our locality (or nearby), but finding tickets a little cheaper might be our challenge. We will look into it when we want to make the time for a night out Biggrin

RE: Concert season - Blink - 07-25-2017

I saw an Imagine Dragons performance about a year ago, I still have the T-shirt (it's a good quality shirt, I personally vouch for it).

Ozzy had a firehose that sprayed champagne all over the venue.

I went to the concert of Imagine Dragons a couple of years ago, it was amazing...

RE: Concert season - Williboss - 04-04-2020
