I honestly can't remember how I came across this awesome anime, but I can definitely say that it's one heck of a journey. It's not very cheerful though, in case that's an issue for you. I very much recommend this, full of plot twists and fascinating characters. Oh and the image is probably not the best representation of the show but I thought it was cute so yeah ~~~
I love this anime! The animation is beautiful and the characters have a great depth! Its a great hidden gem. I give it a solid 9/10

The Count of Monte Cristo is a story of revenge, a very good story but still a man is framed by his friends, climbs his way into wealth and goes through an extensive plot to kill off those who wronged him. Never heard of this anime but if it stays true to the tale it is supposedly based upon it could be good, I don't care much about the art style and coloring, it is the story that is intriguing and to any of you who have not read the novel or watched some old movies based upon it I highly recommend you do.
