Oh trust me, I %100 agree with you, I was just stating an additional fact for humor's sake. Research has been done on climate change, but the naysayers primarily stick to the excuses that either a) There's insufficient data to compare with pre-1950 years or b) It's "normal" for such a chaotic climate change difference. (It is "normal", but not to this severity) . Issue with Trump is since he's now in a position of power he can use his ignorance as validation to do stupid acts like the above article and his previous statements of re-using coal power plants (Which cause almost double the CO²Kg/MWh). As a European Scientist I find it a bit of disgrace when America was one of the first pioneers who spoke and introduced "Climate Change" and attempted to make it mainstream in 1965 & 1975, then they started taking steps backwards. I'm not victimizing Trump per se, but more so anyone who Is In a leadership role, thereby can use their power to pass judgement and due to their seniority, have a much better chance In getting away with It. RE: Trump tells EPA to cut climate page from website - Bish0pQ - 01-28-2017 Climate change is a big issue, personally I already think it's too late, or we need some very big changes. That's just my opinion though, I mean we fucked up the climate from about the time factories, cars and stuff were invented so that's some time. Do we really think that we can still fix it within a few years? I'm not saying it's impossible, not at all but we need some very big changes and since there are so many corporations that are focused on profit and profit only. If we want to save the climate, everyone has to change. Not just a few companies. Garbage processing could be way more efficient as well, unfortuntly countries are interested more in building bombs that can kill a million people at once instead of a way that could save a million humans/animals. I guess that's just how the world is... |
