Another reason why MOTM stopped, our activity over the last few months has dropped dramatically.

School happened for a lot of users. As it stands, I don't see a point to making a news team with the limited activity the forum has had.

So they are? you just confused me.

And I agree, as much as I'd like to contribute to the news, I know it won't work.

Shrug meaning I don't even know.

@Nuance elaborate pls.

Why won't it work? I agree the activity has dropped, but that won't change. I mean it's not like next month there will suddenly join 1000 members who all start posting HQ content. That's just not how it works.

I do think it would be nice to do, since members would get to know the community faster as well. What the respected members here do etc...

I don't think it's a bad idea, and I think there's nothing wrong with trying. Also with the reward system I mentioned above (thread of the month) people will try to post more, especially if the reward would be money or something like that.

If Oni didn't remove the "Previous usernames feature we had, we'd know.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

RE: Sinister.ly news - Bish0pQ - 12-12-2016

Also without trying we can never be sure it would work or not, since it hasn't been done before on this forum.

These are some great suggestions, post some in the suggestions section so they get noticed, can never go wrong with too many suggestions.

I'm all for a news team don't get me wrong.

Figured out by going through his post history he is Crow.

From my experience in Reverence, just on the idea of potential reward quality nor quantity increases.

Interaction and fitting into the place encourage members more, which is partially why Reverence failed, as it was built to be an elitist's group if not ruled on with an iron fist.

In my opinion, to encourage activity, we need to work on being more new-user friendly.

It would also help if we had more things to do around the forum or with other forum users, such as group gaming more than just me or two other people playing games with @Oni

Fostering activity through rewards only works if the person thinks the reward is worthwhile, and with the forum being in the state it is, there isn't much to any reward you could really give.

Thank you for your input, I'll definitly keep it in mind. I'll see what other members think and what Oni says and we'll see. I thought this just might be a way to increase activity, so I was just trying to help on that.

RE: Sinister.ly news - Vi-Sion - 12-12-2016

I like the idea @Bish0pQ hope you could make it happen !! it would be cool to add an interview with a member in the news maybe start with oni first month .
