RE: Time Travel - Limited Edition_mybb_import25645 - 06-28-2016

We can already kind of time travel tho?

Think about visiting a country 12 hours behind you, taking less than 12 hours to get there would mean you've gone back in time lol. The same with going forwards Tongue

Going off what the human race knows as a whole right now, it's not possible and probably will not ever be possible. For one I don't think our bodies could cope with it if it was real. I just don't think going back in time is or ever will be a thing. Plus it would be too dangerous since people could change the past, fuck up the future blah blah.

However, I do believe in travelling forwards. I don't mean like time travel but think about this: I'm sure in the future there will be a way to freeze ourselves or somehow slow down the development of the body so we age more slowly and live for much longer. It's not really "time travel" as we see it in the movies but it is something that could get our life further into the future than it would normally.

Brilliant. You need to go 1c which takes infinite power to go back in time.

You can kinda travel forward faster already if you go super fast

The faster you go the everything shows arround you so you would exit at the same timezone

Slows* Ffs I hate my phone lmao

Time distorts as to keep the speed of light relative to any frame the same. Like if I went on a train going 1ms less than the speed of light, then shot a gun from this train at like idk 70ms, then the bullet would be going faster than the speed of light? But this isn't true, as time would run like at 0.000001% the normal time. It happens on the international space station, they have to recalibrate the clocks every few hours/days

It's impossible to go forward don't you think?

RE: Time Travel - Ami_mybb_import25837 - 06-28-2016

shit another super deep question from Jay
I think it's impossible to travel in time, unless there are entities that don't exist in our time plane, a bit like us only having 3 dimensions and having a different 4 dimensional universe.
It is, however, possible to speed up time (for yourself at least) by going really fast.

Well, kind of, this is travelling into the future extremely slowly

RE: Time Travel - Rikka - 06-28-2016

I don't believe in time travel, it's too much science fiction in it.

However, i do believe in parallel universe travel.

Eh idk about them, they could exist, but that doesn't mean they do
