I'm 18, I'm at a legal age however; I acquire insufficient funds, I need to start saving up. ;^[ RE: Where's everyone from? - Zodiac - 06-17-2016 (06-17-2016, 06:38 PM)Dexterous Wrote: I am from the United Kingdom, personally - I don't mind it here but I'd like to move out as soon as possible. Damn, like the UK is pretty shit educationally as a country, cause all the good teachers just leave for better jobs abroad lol. Its actually pretty common for people to move from Norway to England to study, though other parts of the UK are open too. (I believe.) Reason for that is that an education in England can offer new experiences and a better reputation for work. (People like it when you are educated in England you see, dunno why though.) That and England is one of the easier countries to get into a school in if you grew up in Norway. I applied for a few universities there, and got accepted in to all. Decided to go for the one that had a good reputation for graphic design, which is what I study. What Inton says is true, it is more appealing and shows that you can take things far, and is dedicated. While Norway has a reputation for good design (so I've heard), I very much doubt that there is many good universities here that educate in it. UK also has a lot more cool designs going on that in Norway. For example, when I got to town I see a lot more inspirational stuff than I would in Norway.
