The human race could never reach global peace at any point in time. This is because of our general human behaviors. True peace isn't only peace with other peers, it's also peace with yourself.

I don't believe peace will ever be achieved fully, within our generation anyway, but I do believe that one day humans will become a more educated species and realize that peace is what the world needs to become one step closer to a perfected society.

It's great to have these hopes for the future but I find this extremely unlikely especially in the time of our lives it's not going to happen, I personally think things are looking to get worse and worse in the coming centuries. But hopefully I am wrong nonetheless.

Probably not because of religion. Different cultures agree and disagree on different things. Oh, and Russia, haha. Economic systems and greed too. Communism/Capitalism etc.
