Cloudflare does a decent job at preventing spammers from accessing the site. With an onion link, you won't be getting cloudflare.

That, and it is unnecessary. We allow people to use VPNs/TOR, but there's little reason to operate as a hidden service.

Why do you distrust TOR? TOR is not an individual or an organization...

TOR is literally fine as it is. Anyone who disagrees is 1.) paranoid 2.) using it wrong 3.) configuring it wrong
