RE: Thank or Like on posts? - Mr.Kurd - 11-03-2016 I prefer Thank ... But If you will change it to Like anytime remember UnLike too. RE: Thank or Like on posts? - mothered - 11-03-2016 In my views, they both serve a similar objective- with the only difference being a different form of appreciation. In terms of the name Itself, I prefer the latter being "Like". RE: Thank or Like on posts? - Bish0pQ - 11-03-2016 I like the thanks button. It is more like an achievement than a the like button would be. Some of the people (including me) spammed the like button pretty often. Maybe now it will have more value. I agree, it makes more sense. However, it's also used in social media a lot. I'm open to either, but I'd probably vote for Like. Thank would be more forum oriented and could have a sense of promoting helpful comments, whereas like would be more individual tastes catered and could possibly have a sense of promoting low quality comments. I've never needed it and never knew it was there! xD RE: Thank or Like on posts? - Jiggly - 11-03-2016 (11-03-2016, 07:14 PM)Primitive Wrote:(11-03-2016, 07:02 PM)Oni Wrote:(11-02-2016, 11:56 PM)Satan Wrote: Personal preference is "Like", as a post that you aren't necessarily thankful for can be liked. That's a pretty good point actually. Like is easier but also lazier. However, I would recommend making a suggestion thread for it. Maybe Oni can implement it.https://sinister.ly/alerts.php?action=settings Very unlike yourself where the rate of helping others is 0%. :-( |
