I don't like this idea. It makes gravedigging wayyyyy too easy.

Obviously. I was just pointing out the intention.

It's a somewhat illogical thing to point out. It really has nothing to do with him seeing all his own threads. The only way it would show all related threads of a subject as his, is if he was making all the posts about that specific subject.

It's pretty clear: OP wants to have a "related posts" section so they can see posts related to a subject. It has nothing to do with ego. It is, however, a bad idea in my opinion, for reason I already stated.

Why is it illogical if his posts indicate it ever so clearly? We have SUB FORUMS for that existing reason already. If you want to micro-manage it with threads, we also have this neat feature called the search feature that you can type in KEYWORDS with. WOW!

Furthermore, vocaloid isn't a popular subject even among those who watch anime. It's a very very very (special) group of people who listen to it.

It would do it for all the threads, not just his...

Isn't there a warning for old threads? Maybe it would be possible to only show threads from before then.

Maybe you can use the search function because it's evident that this is pure laziness.

RE: Possibly Related Threads - Oni - 10-16-2016

I could probably add this if there's enough interest.

People are lazy.

Erm, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to reinforce that idea by accommodating to it.

I believe this Is a very valid point to oppose the suggestion. I've owned a forum and had this very feature enabled, and In my views, It didn't really serve much purpose. This Is just my opinion, nothing more.

I'm also on another forum with this enabled and it in fact only links old threads, enabling gravedigging.
