Oh okay, well I suppose I am best judged on my taste for anime then.
These 2 are the absolute best animes I have ever laid eyes upon:
Monster
Legend of galactic heroes
In a lesser degree, the following are very pleasant:
Hellsing (ova)
Gunslinger girl
Claymore
Death note
..and probably more, can't remember the names of the more obscure ones. Can't stand cute anime girls or weeb shit at all though.

As for computers, zero experience with Windows, and a ferocious dislike for anything Gnome 3. i3/xfce is cool though.

Looks like we have something in common - that qt anime girls part I mean. Monster was aight but I got bored so I ditched it, besides that all of the anime series you mentioned are mainstream nowadays which gives me the impression that you recently got into it.

Bored?! Man that show kept me on the very tip of my chair! It was a near perfect iteration of what defines a thriller. Taste differs from person to person I suppose. I don't think im a casual when it comes to anime though, there just isn't a lot of good stuff out there that I like; thats why I stick to manga mostly.

I can create a new thread every day with websites that I've compromised/defaced that'll literally continue for an entire year. And that's no exaggeration.

I like all of them, although I did like Afro Samurai more than champloo(he is just more badass). FMA is awesome, same goes with death note along with code geass and the likes.
The badassest samurai manga however blows both of these samurai animes out of the water though, a crippled samurai vs a blind samurai, very fucking intense but I forgot the name of it. I used samurai 4x in my last sentence.

I streamed Afro Samurai and everyone hated it. I still think it's great, although Samurai Champloo is better in my opinion.
