It's not that you didn't change it.
It's just that it's very similar with the current themes, and also maybe try to format/change up the side feeds as they look sort of out of place.

Would there be any chance of getting the theme onto the site and allowing say.. Sponsors and up see it before anything gets added? Like I said, I want to see the sidebar in action.

The sidebar can be fixed to the needs. I have put a specific width for it atm. Sent the files to Chris.

MyBB could not find the theme with the file you uploaded. Please check the file is the correct and is not corrupt.
