I realize what you're saying and In terms of an awareness factor, I certainly agree. But It shouldn't take an act of this nature to make people realize the severity of the crime that led to Innocent lives lost.

What's also very depressing is that despite the horrors and the media coverage and the awareness... This will happen again. It won't be the last time we see something like this and unfortunately, I suspect it won't be long until we see something of this nature again. We're becoming desensitised to stuff like this.
