RE: McDonalds? - mothered - 06-09-2016 At one point In time many years ago, I was eating McDonald's each and every day. Not only did I put on around 15 kilos (33 pounds), but I was feeling quite sick. Since then, I'm on a very healthy diet- no takeout, no soda, no sugar, no salt, no candy, basically nothing that's not part of a healthy eating plan. As such, I feel absolutely fantastic. I don't usually eat that much in takeaways but I can't say my diet stays balanced, especially when I had such a small space for food in a house share. It was ridiculous how tiny that kitchen was for 5 people to share. In the summer I'll doing a lot more healthy eating. I eat takeaway when I visit Oni but it's not all bad for you. Some of the food that you can get is actually really good. I don't like McDonalds and not really a fan of most places like it, apart from Sonic strangely. I think it's their tater tots which are just like hash browns. My favourite takeaway is definitely Chinese but I cannot have it often, that shit is not good for you. xD RE: McDonalds? - Hououin Kyouma - 06-09-2016 I eat it every two weeks or so, mostly because it's cheap and also because I don't like leaving the house and my grandma's willing to pick it up for me if I give her the money. Usually I eat 1, maybe 2 meals a day (and I don't snack) so I don't really put on any pounds from it. RE: McDonalds? - Customer - 06-09-2016 Whenenver I'm super depressed I eat McDonalds. Maybe 2 times every weeks. I also love subway. It does a lot more damage than that. However, you're probably quite young and as much as I hate to use this phrase - you do only live once. This just reminded me of this guy... RE: McDonalds? - TheEvilSocks - 06-09-2016 I used to eat a lot of McDonals because it was next to my school. But since I'm done with school I don't go there anymore RE: McDonalds? - mothered - 06-10-2016 (06-09-2016, 03:40 PM)Jiggly Wrote: I need to be more like this. It was very difficult at the beginning going from one type of food, to the complete opposite In nature. I actually experienced headaches and nausea- which probably could've also been related to withdrawal symptoms. I did It the wrong way because I completely cutoff from one transition to the next. I should've done It gradually. I do agree with you that not all takeaway food Is bad for you. If It uses the Ingredients and processed as a home-style cooking, then It'll obviously be healthy (healthier). My doctor said that eating takeaway once a week, will have no negative effect whatsoever. As with everything In life, a balance needs to be formulated and adhered to. RE: McDonalds? - Wildfire - 06-10-2016 I eat McDonald's once every month or so, maybe twice a month sometimes. My real favourite is Subway, you can't get better than Subway. |
