Who's your favorite character? If you were stuck on the island, who would you be? I think i'd be Simon or Piggy RE: What are you currently reading? - Jiggly - 06-03-2016 I've been reading The Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. I actually attended a talk by her which was very inspiring. Couldn't help myself and bought her book. It was 99p in a charity store... Cos I'm a classy lady. Unless people are collecting books, I never understand why they buy the absolute newest edition/version etc. It's extremely expensive, and, I mean, all someone needs a book for is to read whatever is written in the book itself /s Anyway, the Labyrinth is a great choice. I remember watching the movie for the first time, and it was just really, really good, I'm sure the talk was awesome! What was the topic if I may ask? So far, the only 'talk' I've been to at my U was a Lindsey Pollack lecture, and that was just lame. It was about where she got her ideas from I guess. How she would look at her local surroundings and fairy-tales and folklore would come to mind. She lives (for part of the year) in the same city I was going to University in for 3 years xD |
