Don't say no because the existence of your thread will contradict your disagreement with my verdict.
As a "older" member, you probably know the trend of these threads before you posted it. You just want to see the same responses that you already know. That's attention whoring.

Usually I would either remove posts like these or speak to members privately, but this message also applies to anyone.
If you think someone is attention whoring, then either PM them about it POLITELY or ignore it. If you have an issue with it that you think needs some action, speak to staff.
Stop posting with the purpose of irritating people, Primitive. People will respect you a lot more if you're not so grumpy.
Personally, I like it when people announce their return whether they want attention or not, it allows current members to see who's returned and perhaps rekindle old friendships. However I respect that not everyone likes it.
